HandyPalmStuff is a collection of small utilities for OS 5.

green bulletMinibar is a bartending application for PalmOS. It includes a database of over 450 mixed drink recipes and filters for searching by drink and ingredient type.

Palm TextSync Conduit - TextSync is a palm sync conduit for standard text compressed/uncompressed bases (PDOC). It will sync to and from plain text desktop files, merging text when conflicts appear.

SiEd is a simple text editor for Palm OS 3.5+. It is designed to allow editing of large documents on any Palm. It is targeted more at users with add-on keyboards for their Palm, as existing editors do not take full advantage of the keyboard. (home page disappeared, only downloads)

Palm Conduits for Delphi - The Delphi Palm Conduit Library provides a library for simplifying the development of Palm conduits using Borland Delphi 4 - 7. It provides a simplified mechanism for creating the conduit DLLs and manipulating Palm tables.

piBuilder is a visual resource editor for Palm developers. It intended for programmers who use PilRC for building application resources. It allows WYSIWYG forms, menus and alerts design. It supports all the major features of the latest PilRC release.

red bulletPalmOS Pascal Compiler - (French resource, English text)  What is PP ? : PP is a freeware standard Pascal compiler for PalmOS. PP generates true native 68000 executable code (.PRC) from standard Pascal source code. And it's a ONBOARD compiler !!! We hope this site will be a tool of knowledge sharing.

Java

java-palm-desktop-file-management - Full Java source to classes enabling access (read, write, display) of the Palm desktop files: Date book, Address book, Memo, and To-do. Tested with version 3.0.1 of the Palm Desktop for Windows.

Jump is a software development tool for Java on the PalmOS platform. It compiles Java classfiles to self-contained 68K assembly language programs for Pila.

Dragon FORTH is a fast 32-bit FORTH system for PalmOS 2.x-6.x. It allows programming directly on the PalmOS device. It has full ANS 94 compatibility, fast 32-bit and 64-bit arithmetic, and a multitasking kernel.

PalmFontConv is a collection of command-line utilities to manipulate Palm fonts in both v1 and v2 formats. Currently, there is a converter that converts between afnx, nfnt (low, high, or both densities), NFNT, and text editable formats, and another converter that converts Type 1/ TrueType/ BDF/ PCF and other formats supported by FreeType2 into the text editable format. Eventually, there will be support for anti-aliased fonts too.

Compiler Tools

red bulletGuikachu is a resource editor for PalmOS™ systems. It allows you to visually create dialog boxes, menu bars and windows for your Palm application in the GNOME desktop environment. MS Windows is supported as well.

PilRC is a Palm OS™ resource compiler. This is a tool that turns a textual description of Palm OS forms, bitmaps, fonts, and other resources into a binary form that can be included in an application or library. The name is derived from "PILot Resource Compiler". This tool is used with many popular Palm OS development tools, including prc-tools and CodeWarrior for Palm OS.

The prc-tools package is a collection of tools supporting C and C++ programming for Palm OS.
